Let me introduce myself:

My name is Inès Flipo.
A free-lance graphic-designer since last year, I have twenty-years experience in print graphic design, here in the Tarn but also in Paris.

I come from the north of France and I lived in Paris for nearly thirty years. After my baccalaureat, in the late 1980’s I followed a two-year advertising course, and a five-month Computer Aided Publishing course. I had three different jobs in ten years while in Paris. Then my husband and I decided to move south, and my last job was as an Artistic Director for eight years in a small ad agency in Lavaur. I was made redundant there, and I took advantage of the free time to get new skills in web.

So that brings me to what leads me to this BSC in multimedia I am following right now. I first became interested in working in webdesign when our clients asked for websites and nobody in the agency could do the job. We lost a lot of clients by ignoring their needs. And because it is the only way to be recruited in advertising nowadays, I decided to go back to school !

So this BSC is teaching me to be able to conduct projects and make me develop new skills in website creation. I know now that I want to be a webdesigner (associated to the print part of the AD job), but not a webmaster or integrator. It gives me a lot of very interesting context knowlegde around the web world too, economic, historic, artistic, technic and approaches.

I would be very pleased to present my portfolio; you can have a look at it on this website, and at my detailed CV below too.
